Social Media
Why Interact?

We have it in our homes, in our work place, we even check it before we go to bed! Social media, such things like Facebook, instagram, Twitter, Pinterest you name it pretty much everyone has at least one of these if not all. In the era we live nowadays we have access via computers, tablets, mobile phones and I know you all check on a regular basis, it's what we are now programmed to do. This connection to the outside world enables us to share information and images with our friends and families. As a photographer it is important for me to keep posting new work and have an online presence, otherwise you would forget about little ole me. When someone interacts with my pages it great to see and know that I am not talking to myself, the images I produce are for clients along with some personal work which includes a little bit of fun. Someone once asked me why I photograph Lego? Well it's simple, we are all familiar with Lego and one day I decided to make a Lego me out of what my children had gathered over the years. Lego me began to develop and it is something I will continue doing by promoting the adventures of Lego me and recording my actual days, just as a bit of fun.
I am always grateful when someone stops by and likes what I have created. I never started my career 25 years ago as a photographer to earn big money, I started it because it is something I love to do, I simply love photographs and that connection with a memory. As a small business social media networking is vital, its a way of allowing the public to see what we do. In order for this networking to work I must be active on all social media platforms but sometimes it can be a disheartening world to be in and competition is everywhere.
I for one really appreciate you spreading my name by the best form of advertising 'word of mouth'. So I sit here thinking and have come up with a little idea, I would love to see where the images I have taken ended up finally having a home and how you felt about them. So if you lovely people are on any of these www.facebook.com/Beverley-Thomas-Photography
then drop me a review and let me know, if your on https://www.instagram.com/bevvypix/
please follow me and #beverleythomasphotography your images, that way I will see them in my little # and if your on twitter@bevvypix drop by with a tweet. Every interaction such as a like or share, counts and helps other know that our little businesses exists.
Thanks You
Bev x
