BA (Hons) Photography Degree Show

My recent work has recently been influenced by well-known female photographers, subsequently refining my own visual and conceptual vocabulary that has emerged through my focus on a completed series of self-portraits.

I turned the camera and chose to put myself in the frame. I was influenced by the idea of becoming my own subject. I wanted to explore issues of the self, reality and fiction. My photographs are portraits in various scenarios that have been created and combined to evacuate a story.

As you can probably guess, a lot of thought process and personality evoked this series, I am so glad that I challenged myself and I am so proud of what I have achieved.
