Hi there! Have some questions about our company? From the moment you decide that you are about to plan your big day, you have big decisions to make. You will need to choose someone who can record your special photographs and capture each and every moment. Here at Beverley Thomas Photography, I want to tell your story for years to come. Find the answers below. 
  • How Long has Beverley Thomas Photography been in business?

    We have been in the photographic industry for 30 years and creating wedding photography for over 25 years.

  • What services do you offer?

    We offer what we expect to pay for and providing the best service possible. Your wedding day is important to us, just as it is to you and it is not just about great pictures, it's about the whole package from start to finish. We go above an beyond to make sure your day is as amazing as your dreamt it to be.

  • How soon do I need to book?

    We do get booked up quickly and cannot guarantee that dates will be availble upon enquiries. Once you place an enquiry we will hold the date for 2 weeks for you to make a decision, after that the date becomes available for others.

  • How many meetings do we have?

    When we initially meet, we have a chat about what you want from your wedding photography packages and discuss a list of photographs to be captured. 


    At this first meeting we require a non-refundable booking fee to secure your date. If you want to book an engagement as an extra meet up then it is possible. 


    Otherwise once date is confirmed, we will then need to check everything about 2 weeks prior to your wedding date.

  • How many weddings have you photographed?

    Lots and we have actually lost count. We are experts in our field and have been photographing wedding days for over 25 years. 

  • How many photographers attend our day?

    You will have one qualified female photographer in attendance. She is an expert in her field and captures your day beautifully, never missing a moment.

  • Do you have an assistant?

    Yes. She is not a photographer and her name is Gill and she often helps behind the scenes and has been known to do a little baby sitting so that your guest can enjoy the ceremony.

  • How many photographs will we receive?

    We simply cannot answer this question with an exact amount because we want to capture everything we can for you. What we can say is we shoot digital now and we are not limited like we were shooting film. 

  • Is there any hidden costs?

    No indeed not. At our meeting you will be given a total price to pay and that is all you pay, should the costing come to more for us, we will not ask you for more. 

  • What is your photographic style?

    We shoot formal and informal types of photography. However, we are fun and want you to enjoy your day, so our formals are pretty informal.

  • Can we have photographs taken at another location?

    Definately, we encourage you to stop on route to beautiful picturesque locations. These are your photographs and we want you to personalise your shoot.

  • We want special photographs taken with specific people?

    No a problem, just make sure we are aware of this and we will do our upmost to accommodate your request.

  • We want to book, how much is the booking fee?

    A £200 non-refundable booking fee is require at time of booking. This confirms and secures your chosen date. 

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

    We accept cash or bank transfer. 

    NB: We are unable to  process credit card payments.

  • Can I get a full refund?

    Your booking fee is non-refundable due to the nature of holding the date for you and turning other potential couples away. 


    If we have to cancel you for any reason, we will return the booking fee but if you cancel us then you will loose fee. 


    You have until 2 weeks prior to your date to pay the remaining balance and should you cancel during this period then you will loose half of your remaining balance.

  • We have to change our date, will it cost us to move it?

    We aim to accommodate date changes and we understand dates sometimes need changing. We allow you to change your date ONCE which incurs no extra charges. However, if you decide to change it again we will have to charge you an administration fee of £25.

  • What happens if we need to change date and you are not available?

    We will work with you to arrange an agreed date that we are both able to attend. However, if you choose a date and in the unlikely event that we are booked elsewhere, we cannot refund your fee as then you are then cancelling us. 

  • Can we order more products?

    Yes of course you can. We offer parent books, pocket book and minature books which make ideal gifts for your wedding party. These gifts will be at an extra cost to yourself.

  • When is our final balance due?

    Your final balance is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding date.

  • Do you require wedding food on the day?

    Yes please. As you can imaging we are unable to go elsewhere for food during the day because we are there for you every minute. We require you to place an order for food, depending on your selected menu. We require one vegetarian option and the other standard meat option.

  • Who edits your photographs?

    Your images are edited inhouse, we do not out source any work other that the printing stage of your wedding album.


    We pride ourself on our editing techniques and sympathetically adjust your images should we need to.

  • Do we need to pick photographs for the album?

    You can if you really want to but often we choose the best story line that we can possibly give you as your day unfolds before us. It is a hard enough decision for us to choose, so we can only guess it will blow your mind.

  • When can we expect our photograph?

    Your photographs usually can take anything between 6-8 weeks to be delivered. 

  • Do we have to announce our wedding in the paper?

    No, not if you do not want to. We protect your data and we are compliant with GDRP. The only information that we share is authorised by you. 

  • We want to give photographic gifts to our guest?

    After your wedding package is delivered, you have an option to include digital copies which as high resolution for printing. The colours should look pretty close to your wedding album. 


    We cannot be held responsible for colour correcting your own printing. However, we can professionally print for you at an extra costs.
